Wattson Elements is growing! We are delighted to introduce to you Jim Lamarche, Director of Business Development for North America.
Jim, welcome to Wattson Elements!
What is your role with WE?
JL : Je vais amener les solutions Falco sur le marché américain. Mon rôle principal sera le développement commercial : dans un premier temps, je prends contact avec des clients et partenaires pour identifier comment nous pouvons leur apporter les meilleurs solutions.
– What can you tell us about yourself and your background?
JL : My first job was cleaning boats and pumping gas at a marina on Lake Winnipesaukee, NH! Since then, I have owned and run boats my whole life both for leisure and as a professional captain. I currently keep a commercial fishing boat in Portsmouth, NH. My “tech life” has focused on the business side of developing and delivering solutions to market. I spent 15 years at Cisco Systems building partnerships in Sales and Marketing as well 3 years as start-up founder with an AI business.
Why did you choose Falco?
JL : I knew I wanted to focus on something entrepreneurial and something different. WE gives me a great opportunity to work in an environment that I love. Wattson Elements allows me the ability to help create real value in this special place where land meets water.
– What are your goals for 2020-2021?
Professional – to establish WE- Falco as a leader in the US connected marina marketplace.
Personal – to support my two boys as they thrive in their academic and sporting (hockey/lacrosse/fishing) endeavors and to support my wife in her careers – mental health awareness non-profit and artist.
